Applications / Low-cost interceptors

A seeker priced for the interceptor it rides on

The same module, flying on a low-cost effector. Size, weight, power and unit cost set the design, so the sensor has to be built around them from the start.

The problem

The exchange ratio is the problem

Firing an exquisite interceptor at a low-cost drone wins the engagement and loses the exchange. An adversary willing to buy in volume can keep that trade going indefinitely.

A low-cost interceptor cannot carry a high-cost seeker or a top-end processor. Whatever rides on it has to be inexpensive, low-power and small enough to fit.

Why event sensing

One moduleSensor and processing on one board, so there is no separate compute payload to carry or power.
PassiveNo emitter on the airframe.
No GPS dependencyThe sensing loop does not rely on satellite navigation.
Built for volumeDesigned around a unit cost that matches the effector, not the platform that launches it.

Evidence

Where it starts

The detect-and-track chain is the one already demonstrated in the field for ground point defense. Integration detail is provided under appropriate agreement.

Small UAS against bright sky and cloud, tracked on the module.

Export control. This page describes capability only. Performance, integration and technical data are exchanged against a specific requirement under appropriate agreement and authorization, not published here.
